We’ve all heard the phrase, “Life is a Journey Not a Destination.” Well one of the most intriguing stops along this journey is becoming a Glam-Mother!
Our journey as Glam-Mothers is different from our grandparents because we continue to lead active and engaging lifestyles. Many of us are still working; for someone else or managing our own company. We are very active and committed to leading productive lives in our communities; some of us are active politically, others are leading the charge to save the environment, and some are saving lives spiritually! Our social life is just as active as when we were in our 20’s.
Physically,  we are committed to remaining healthy and fit through playing golf, cycling, Zumba, ballroom dancing, hiking and other aerobic activities. We remain current on the latest fashions, restaurants, books, wines and travel destinations.

In the same manner as we have redefined a grandmother.. to Glam-Mother, we are also establishing new traditions, rituals, and customs to relate to our grandchildren. Technology has certainly contributed to this with new communication methods, we are all leveraging the power of social media to remain connected. Its my understanding the average user of Facebook is a grandmother staying connected to her grandkids.
